Rare Coin Created In The 10th Anniversary of American EaglesĪnother interesting year for the Silver American Eagles was 1995. Since 2001, the Uncirculated Proof Silver Eagles have been produced solely at West Point mint. (Since the coins have no mint mark, there’s no way to track where they originated.) From 1999-2000, they were produced in both Philadelphia and West Point. Uncirculated (non burnished version) American Eagle production facility and mint mark by year outside the Burnished Uncirculated coins which have a “W” mint mark, all Uncirculated American Eagle Silver coins have never had a mint mark.įrom 1986-1988, Uncirculated Silver Eagles were minted at the Philadelphia facility. Since 2001, Proof Silver Eagles have been minted at West Point and have the “W” mint mark. From 1993 through 2000, they were produced in Philadelphia and held the “P” mint mark. Mint Facility And Mint Mark Changes Throughout American Eagle Seriesįrom 1986-1992, American Silver Eagle Proof versions were minted at the San Francisco mint facility and included the “S” mint mark. However, this coin could only be purchased through a limited mintage anniversary 3-coin set, which also included the standard Proof coin and the new “W” Burnished Uncirculated coin. In the same year (2006), as part of the 20th-anniversary celebration of the American Eagle Silver coins, the Mint also released a special reverse proof from the Philadelphia Mint. The Mint’s succinct description of their production: “.in a process similar to that used to create the magnificent American Eagle Proof Coins, American Uncirculated Coins are hand-loaded into the coining press, struck on specially burnished blanks and carry the “W” mint mark of the United States at West Point.” Many refer to these coins as the “W Uncirculated” or “Burnished Uncirculated” Silver Eagles. In 2006, the US Mint began to sell a new type of Uncirculated American Silver Eagles coin they advertised to coin collectors as mintage figures. 20th Anniversary Of The American Eagle Creates New Coins Special satin-finish versions were made available beginning in 2006. Uncirculated coins couldn’t be purchased from the U.S. Proof coins were issued specifically for coin collectors and, like all proofs, as an enhanced reverse proof, were and are available for direct purchase from the Mint but only during the current year of the coin’s mintage as limited edition silver proof sets. The Mint does not sell these coins directly to the public, but instead through a network of authorized dealers who resells them for a small premium over the current spot price of their precious metal content. They do not have the special collector proof or uncirculated finishes, not carry mint marks. You could buy them as either:īullion coins are those struck with the intent of being investment vehicles. In the early years of the Silver Eagle, things were clearer. While the Silver Eagle coins are a relatively young series, keeping track of where they were minted, knowing the available mint marks, and understanding the coin finishes and types can get confusing. The reverse of the American Silver Eagle has the inscriptions: The silver eagle mintages have arrows in the right talon and an olive branch in its left. That design was created by United States Mint sculptor-engraver John Mercanti portrays a heraldic eagle with a shield. You’ve already seen at least the image of the Silver American Eagle’s reverse to know it portrays an eagle. The coin’s designation within the “American Eagle” coin family hints at its tails or reverse design. The obverse will also have the inscriptions bearing: You’ll notice Weinman’s initials on the hem of Lady Liberty’s gown. The United States Mint describes the obverse features as “.an ever hopeful Lady Liberty striding confidently toward the sunrise, draped in the strength of the Stars and Stripes carrying in her arms branches of laurel and oak to symbolize both civil and military glory.” Weinman (1870-1952) beginning the liberty coin act. The American Eagle Silver coin’s heads or obverse bears the Walking Liberty half dollar design that was used between 1916 through 1947 and created by Adolph A. While you’re more than likely very familiar with the US penny, let’s explore the American Silver Eagle coin to discover what’s so different about it. However, such an analogy doesn’t pass the muster of comparing apples to apples. Mint’s output of a couple of week’s worth of pennies in some years. That’s a pittance contrasted against the treasury mintage of daily circulating coins. Through the middle of 2010, the mintage total for the silver dollar coins is over 230 million coins. Representing the silver side are American Silver Eagles. In 1986 the United States Mint began striking new silver and gold annual coins.

Cutwater Canned Cocktails SummaryĪfter Cutwater Spirits was purchased by AB-InBev in 2019, a lot of money and marketing went towards promoting their canned cocktails. There’s sugar, but I am a lot less bloated, and got a good buzz much quicker. At 12.5%, two margaritas are equivalent to five 5% beers of 5% seltzers. While that could be considered a downside, I am very okay with it. I had a 4-pack of Cutwater Mango Margarita and drank two of them. After drinking two, I am ready to move to something else. 25g is a lot of sugar, and you can definitely taste it, but it’s not overwhelming either. It’s safe to say that the mango flavored margarita is very good at 25 proof however, the sugar is a bit of a worry. My biggest worry was that it wouldn’t be good at such a high ABV, or that there’d be too much sugar. The fruit, lime juice, and other natural flavors don’t contain gluten, so Cutwater Margaritas are all gluten free. Per the FDA, every distilled liquor is gluten free unless gluten is added to it afterwards. In fact, every canned cocktail offered by Cutwater is gluten free except one, which is the whiskey mule. Are Cutwater Tequila Margaritas Gluten-Free? The other 3 are available at 10% ABV which will make them slightly healthier per 12 fl oz. It should also be noted that the Mango and Lime Margaritas are the two flavors that are offered at 12.5% ABV. However, if you prefer Budweiser, you’re going to be looking at a much higher calorie and carb count when you adjust it on an alcohol intake level. Similarly, it is healthier to drink light beers such as Michelob. When you adjust it for alcohol content, you’d multiply those numbers by 2.5x which would still make White Claw a healthier option. Seltzers such as White Claw are much better with 100 calories, 2g of sugar and 2g of carbs. This nutritional info is taken directly from Cutwater SpiritsĬutwater Tequila isn’t the healthiest option out there, but it’s not the worst for you either. Cutwater Tequila Margarita Nutrition Facts At 12.5% ABV, is Cutwater Margarita still good? Do they overdue the sugar content to make up for the higher proof? We’ll find out soon when we crack open our first one. However, this does bring up some concerns. This is something that really turns me off a lot of beer and seltzers – a 4% or 5% drink means you have to drink a lot more to achieve the same effect. For one, you don’t have to drink a lot of them to get a buzz. The most important thing, for me at least, is the 12.5% ABV that Cutwater Margarita’s are bottled at. AB-InBev is the owner of other brands such as Budweiser, Busch, Michelob, and many many more, so it’s safe to assume they put a lot of marketing dollars into the canned-cocktails market. Much of Cutwater’s recent growth can likely be attributed to AB-InBev purchasing Cutwater back in 2019. Ingredients: Two shots Cutwater Tequila, lime juice, mango, “other natural flavors”.Cutwater TequilaĪs we mentioned, we can’t cover all of these options, but we can give you a break down on Cutwater Tequila Margarita, specifically the mango flavor. We can’t cover all 28 of these in depth, but we’ll at least give you a list of your options. 9 of them are tequila, 12 are vodka, 5 are rum, and then there is one whiskey and one gin option. There are 28 different canned cocktails offered by Cutwater. Their large selection of different spirits also allowed them to have a large selection of canned cocktails. Current day, they are owned by AB-InBev after being purchased in 2019.Įventually, they began mixing their spirits into cocktails that they would can and sell. Of course, being located in San Diego meant they couldn’t distill Tequila, but they had some help with that and began tequila under the Cutwater brand. They began by distilling everything – whiskey, rum, vodka, gin, liqueur, and so on. Originally, Cutwater started out as a small company and “passion-project” of Yuseff Cherney in 2017. Well, first of all, Cutwater is more than just tequila and canned cocktails. In this article, we’re going to cover exactly what Cutwater Tequila is, what ready to go cocktails they offer, and finally give a little review of the Cutwater Tequila Margarita. Cutwater Tequila is one of the more recent pre-mixed, canned cocktails to take off due to their large selection of flavors and options. I mean, you can buy a can of Jack Daniel’s & Cola at the liquor store now. However, we are starting to see more and more brands come out with their version of the canned cocktails. Bacardi has sold ready to serve cocktails for some time now. Pre-mixed or canned cocktails aren’t a new thing. We’re likely to see something similar happen in the world of spirits. What started as White Claws and Truly has turned into Bud Light Seltzer, Corona Seltzer, Michelob Ultra Seltzers, and so on. With the explosion of seltzers in the last half decade, nearly every beer brand has tried to grab a share of the market. XSensors displays a little bit more specific information than Psensor. Let me just say- our ROI is off the charts with our Houzz Pro marketingĪny interior designer who knows me in the industry knows I am outspoken about the success we have had as a small business marketing as a Houzz Pro. Client acquisition costs are an important consideration but so is the retention and repeat business. Our first big Houzz Pro lead and it was clear across the country! This lovely family went on to become three big projects over a couple of years. I asked where I agreed to this but he couldn’t show me.This is a screen shot of our Houzz Pro video they do for you on your site–How can anyone not like your phone number being front and center? After my 1 year contract I didn’t receive any good leads so I contacted my account manager and he said that I was obligated for another year because I didn’t cancel my 1st year contract 30 days after the contract was finished. I only signed up for a 1 year contract with Houzz Pro. Tried to cancel my one year contract for a Houzz Pro account after my one year commitment. And just to be fair I was on Houzz for over 6 years and loved the platform, but I will probably be closing my profile since this is how they do business. Would recommend memorizing the contract Houzz makes you sign before proceeding. Five months later they are still billing me they won’t return emails or phone messages. So I called and canceled and after discussions with my Houzz client manager, I was billed for four months of fees for early termination. My service contract for the advertising was up and I forgot the fine print that said you need a written cancelation 30 days prior or you will automatically be enrolled in another year of the program. They lock you in for another year with a twisted so-called contract, and charge you without consent. I’m a contractor working with (actually trying to work with) pro services. After the year was up they charged me $250 per month and would not refund my money. I prepaid for a full year and never received one lead. Also consider listing your contractor/handyman/design services on ToolBelt, TaskRabbit and a neighborhood website like Nextdoor. The professional network offered through JiffyOnDemand. Our advice: Post a free profile, but don’t answer the phone when Houzz’ sales representatives start calling. These contracts appear to have variable pricing, but typically cost hundreds of dollars each month. The site says (in a response to a BBB complaint) that Houzz has the right to auto-renew customers and charge them cancelation fees equal to four month’s membership to get out of their contracts early. Hundreds of contractors have complained that Houzz’ paid product is worthless, expensive and practically impossible to cancel. The problems arise when contractors decide to pay for premium pro services on Houzz, which is supposed to result in business leads. These are valuable freebies and account for our high rating for the site’s free services. The site also makes it easy to get your past customers to review you connect your Houzz profile to your Facebook profile, etc. It’s free to sign up and post this profile. It also has a “Pro” network, where providers of everything from general contracting to landscaping and interior design can sign up and post a profile on the site. Houzz is a beautiful website that provides information and resources on everything house related - furniture, design, contractors and remodeling. Houzz provides a forum for designers, contractors and architects to market their services, but beware the impossible-to-cancel paid plan The closer your signal strength is to -50 dBm, the stronger your signal will be. How to Get Cell Service While Camping: Tips and Tricks for Staying Connected in the Great Outdoors Apache Tears are usually translucent to transparent and medium brown in color. The wives and families of the warriors cried when they heard of the tragedy and their tears turned to stone upon hitting the ground. Facing defeat, the outnumbered Apache warriors rode their horses off the mountain to their deaths rather than be killed by the soldiers. The legend is that about 75 Apache warriors and the US Cavalry fought on a mountain overlooking what is now Superior, Arizona in the 1870s. These are often called Cosmic Obsidian.Īnother type of Obsidian is called “Apache Tears” because of a legend of the Apache tribe. There are also translucent Obsidian gems with white inclusions of Cristobalite. Rainbow Obsidian has an iridescent, rainbow-like sheen. Mahogany Obsidian has brownish-red patches or swirls of black Obsidian while Snowflake Obsidian has greyish white patches of black Obsidian. The most common are opaque cabochons of black, Mahogany, Snowflake or Rainbow Obsidian. There are several types of Obsidian typically offered as gems. Most Obsidian is typically opaque black and not desirable for faceting. It is sometimes classified instead as a mineraloid. Otherwise, it is very similar in composition to granite and rhyolite. Obsidian consists mainly of silicon dioxide and is mineral-like, but not a true mineral because it has no crystal structure and therefore is amorphous. It is produced from volcanoes when certain types of lava cool rapidly by flowing into a body of water. Obsidian, also known as volcanic glass, is a rock rather than a mineral that is a mixture of cryptocrystalline grains of silica minerals in a glass-like suspension. With that, I'll definitely be wearing this skin tint for the rest of summer and well into the fall.Give your complexion a healthy boost with our collection of low-maintenance skin tints. I even got a handful of compliments from people saying my skin looked flawless and glowy. My Skin With the Tula Radiant Skin Brightening Serum Skin TintĮven after wearing it for nine hours on a hot day in NYC, my skin looked smooth and even - I didn't experience any creasing, smudging, or transferring. I applied a touch of concealer under my eyes, blush, bronzer, mascara, and brow gel to finish off the look, but I didn't need concealer anywhere else on my face - the skin tint provided enough coverage for me. I still wear an SPF on my face under it, but it's not needed - that's just my personal preference.įor no-makeup days, the Tula skin tint alone is sufficient, but on this particular day, I was heading out to some meetings so I decided to do my full makeup routine on top of it. I love that it has SPF 30 to give your skin an extra boost of sun protection. It gave me a healthy glow and helped even out my complexion from any redness or discoloration without looking like I had makeup on. I found the shade 09 to be my perfect match, and the colour blended into my skin seamlessly. I applied it first to the back of my hand and then dabbed it onto my cheeks, forehead, and chin before using my fingers to blend it. Despite feeling super lightweight and thin, it's pretty pigmented. What first caught my attention when I tried the Tula Radiant Skin Brightening Serum Skin Tint for the first time was the creamy consistency. Ceramides and hyaluronic acid in the formula are responsible for boosting your skin's hydration and plumpness, and collagen helps to target fine lines and wrinkles. There's also a combination of rainbow seaweed and niacinamide that make up what the brand calls the "rainbow seabright elixir," which helps brighten skin and protect against blue light and pollution. First, being a probiotic-driven brand, there's Tula's proprietary blend of six pre- and probiotic extracts. Unlike some tinted moisturisers that only offer a handful of choices, this one accounts for a variety of skin tones and undertones.Īs to be expected from Tula, the Radiant Skin Brightening Serum is packed with a variety of skin-loving ingredients. What's also impressive is the 30-option shade range that the skin tint comes in. It's noncomedogenic, offers 12 hours of long wear, and is suitable for all skin types, including oily, combination, acne prone, sensitive, and dry. It boasts a serum-light texture and has been clinically proven to help brighten and smooth your skin tone with each use. The Radiant Skin Brightening Serum Skin Tint Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 checks three boxes at once: it's a moisturiser, a sheer complexion product, and a sunscreen. Tula is one of my favourite skin-care brands (I've used its cleanser for years), and it has a handful of no-makeup makeup products, like lip balms and primers, but this is the brand's first colour complexion product. With my strong love for hybrid skin-care-makeup products, I knew I had to try the new Tula Radiant Skin Brightening Serum Skin Tint Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($40). I prefer my complexion products to be lightweight, sheer coverage, and, ideally, something that's going to help improve my skin as I wear it. |
